Custom printed flexible packaging products
Falitopack manufactures custom printed flexible packaging in Naucalpan, State of Mexico: stand-up pouches, printed roll stock, vacuum bags, side-seal and back-seal bags, and sachets, each made to the customer's size, structure and artwork.
A stand-up pouch (also called a doypack) has a gusseted bottom that lets it stand on the shelf. It is used for seeds, nuts, powdered milk and fresh foods.

Printed laminated roll stock
Printed plastic and laminated films supplied on rolls for automatic packaging. Roll stock runs on form-fill-seal equipment (vertical VFFS, or horizontal HFFS and flow pack), where the machine forms, fills and heat-seals each bag in line.

Vacuum bags
High-barrier bags for vacuum packing raw meat, foods packed in water, fruits and vegetables, and other high-moisture products such as pozole and precooked corn. They are made to withstand freezing and heat.

- Use: meat and processed meat, preserved foods, high-moisture foods

Side-seal, back-seal and sachet bags
Flat bag formats for retail and bulk products. Side-seal bags give 360° visibility of the product and can include a flap. Back-seal bags (lap seal, fin seal, T-seal or simplex) have a seam on the back panel and offer more capacity. Sachets and hermetically sealed bags cover single-dose and small-portion products.

Materials and structures
Flexible packaging is usually a laminate of two or three films, each doing one job: an outer layer that carries the print, a barrier layer, and an inner sealant layer. We help you choose the structure based on your product, its shelf life and how it is filled. Details for each film are on the materials page.
- BOPP: printable film with good moisture barrier; a common outer layer for snacks
- Metallized BOPP: adds light and oxygen barrier at a lower weight than foil
- PET (polyester): stiff, heat-resistant printable film for laminated pouches
- PE (polyethylene): the usual sealant layer; also available as shrink film for sleeves and bottles
- PA / nylon: puncture resistance and oxygen barrier; used in 7-layer PE/nylon coextrusions for vacuum bags
- PET/AL/PE: three-ply laminate with aluminum foil for high barrier to light, oxygen and moisture
- Paper laminates: glassine paper with PE, and coated, offset or bond papers laminated to film

Which stand-up pouch options can you add?
Falitopack stand-up pouches can include a zipper, a window, a valve, a euro hole or a double-layer construction, with a K-seal or round bottom and a gloss or matte finish. Tell us what you pack and how you fill it, and we will recommend the combination that fits.
What is the difference between roll stock and finished bags?
Roll stock is printed film delivered on rolls, which your own form-fill-seal machine turns into bags while filling them. Finished bags are formed and sealed at our plant, and you only fill and close them. Roll stock suits automatic lines; finished bags suit manual or semi-automatic filling.
Are your vacuum bags suitable for frozen products?
Yes. Our vacuum bags are made from 7-layer coextruded PE/nylon and are designed to withstand both freezing and heat. They are used for raw meat, processed meat, foods packed in water and high-moisture products such as pozole and precooked corn.
Can you match the size of my current package?
Yes. All formats are made to order, so we can work from the dimensions of your current bag or pouch, or from a physical sample. We also adapt the artwork to the new layout and can provide a sample of the bag or roll for testing before production.
